Star Wars: Bonus Materials

Star Wars Bonus Material. Come on, did you ever doubt that I would be the kind of girl to love Star Wars. Oh you did? Well fear not because I love me some Star Wars. The bonus stuff is pretty cool, definitely worth watching if the mere mention of Star Wars affects your heartbeat.

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi

Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi (1983) Mark Hamil, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Yoda. Part of my trilogy boxed set. Ewoks have a special place in my heart. A lot of people were pissed that George Lucas went in and put Hayden Christensen's image in place of the original actor who portrayed Anakin Skywalker in the last scene. I thought it was pretty cool but I respect that Lucas didn't do that for the individual dvd release.

Star Wars

Star Wars IV: A New Hope (1977) Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher. There's not much to say. This is part of the trilogy boxed set which I almost died when I got it for Christmas a couple of years back. Swoon.

Star Wars: The Emperor Strikes Back

Star Wars V: The Emperor Strikes Back (1980) Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher honorable mention: Billie Dee Williams. arguably the best of the bunch. Personally I love return of the Jedi. What? I'm a sucker for Ewoks.

You've Got Mail

You've Got Mail (1998) Meg Ryan, Tom Hanks. That's right. I have You've Got Mail AND Sleepless in Seattle and I love both of them! These two are so cute together and she's gotten a little weird over the years but Meg Ryan used to be so cute! Doesn't she seem like that girl in high school who wasn't like, the most popular girl but she was so sweet and everyone wanted to be friends with her? I want to be friends with Meg Ryan!

Runaway Bride

Runaway Bride (1999) Julia Roberts, Richard Gere. Widescreen. Oh you two. I just love Jules and Rick together. That's right I made them nicknames. Somehow I don't own Pretty Woman... someone should fix this for me

The Trouble with Angels

Trouble with Angels (1966) VHS This movie is really strange but in a hilarious way. This has been in our house since I can remember so I took it when the vhs player there decided to revolt and eat any tape that attempted to enter. It's like catholic school girls gone wild, only wild by 1966's standards haha

Notting Hill

Notting Hill (1999) Julia Roberts, Hugh Grant. Widescreen. This is not my movie. I stole it from my mom. Totally willing to admit it but the way I see it I stole this from her like 4 years ago and she still has never mentioned it so really at this point isn't it like... a common law DVD owning?

Finding Nemo

Finding Nemo (2003) OMG fishes. Just keep swimming. nuff said

My Girl

My Girl (1991) Anna Chlumsky, Macaulay Culkin. VHS. Oh man did I have a crush on Mac when I was a kid. Seriously. Home Alone? Richie Rich? Yeah you remember that one. Not the Good Son. Then I had a crush on Elijah Wood. Man I'm movie boy crazy.

Mulan

Mulan (1998) Hooray girl power! One of the few good Disney (non-Pixar) movies made since 1996 or so.

Hook

Hook (1991) Dustin Hoffman, Robin Williams Julia Roberts (sort of). VHS. This is such a great movie and I know Dustin Hoffman used to be a serious actor and whatnot but this was my first taste of him so he'll always be captain hook to me. Or Raymond. Definitely.
edit: HOW could I forget?? RU-FI-OOOOOOHHHHH

Galaxy High School

Galaxy High School (1986) OK so this is a pretty ghetto movie I'm willing to admit. It was actually a series of Japanese anime shows that got pieced together into a movie that doesn't always make sense but I was OBSESSED with it when I was little (the only place to rent movies was the grocery store and they had a tiny selection so I got this a lot) and I remembered it years and years later and my sister totally found it on eBay for me. What a doll.

Fern Gulley

Fern Gulley (1992) VHS. best. movie. evar. Ok that might be an exaggeration but this movie is so great and Robin Williams is a lot easier to stomach in cartoon form

Dirty Dancing

Dirty Dancing (1987) Jennifer Grey, Patrick Swayze. This was my mom's favorite movie when I was a kid and now I love it too. It's not my favorite but it is definitely a classic

Dick

Dick (1999) Kirsten Dunst, Michelle Williams VHS oh this movie is so hilarious. It's just way goofy and camp and if you don't laugh there's something wrong with you

Alice in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland (1951) This movie is so cute and it really is one of those movies that you find quoting for no good reason. My favorite line (lord knows why): There goes Bill!

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) Tim Burton does such cool stuff and this is practically the only movie of his that doesn't have Johnny Depp in it haha

Young Sherlock Holmes

Young Sherlock Holmes (1985) My 7th grade English teacher introduced me to this movie and it's a guilty pleasure. It's way hokey but pretty fun too. It's produced by Steven Spielburg and is the first movie to use the kind of CGI it has. It's pretty basic but it's cool to see the beginnings of a new form of special effects.

Armageddon

Armageddon (1998) Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler. Oh Ben Affleck how you made me swoon when I was a wee 12 year old. Make fun of me if you want, you know you've seen this movie and you know you liked it. You can't lie to me!

Amelie

Amelie (2001) This is one of my favorite movies. It's in French. It is so funny and sweet and cute and I have nothing but praise for this. Everybody needs to see this movie!

Aladdin

Aladdin (1992) Got this when they released it from the Disney Vault. Stupid vault. Why can't they just sell Disney DVDs all the time?

Love Me if You Dare

Love Me if You Dare (2003) so this is actually a French film that a friend and I saw at Hollywood Video and decided to rent and it was really really good. I've yet to see a French film I didn't like (then again I've only seen 4) This has Marion Cotillard who won the Oscar for best actress this year.

Big Daddy

Big Daddy (1999) Adam Sandler, Jon Stewart, Dylan and Cole Sprouse. The Sprouse twins seem to be surprisingly well adjusted considering they were in this movie haha. The kind of characters they play on Disney channel are SO far away from this.

The Phantom of the Opera

The Phantom of the Opera (2004) Emmy Rossum, Gerard Butler. I've never actually seen the Broadway version, so this movie make actually suck in comparison but I LOVE this movie so I'd venture to bet I'd love the show. Gerard Butler is so dreamy.

The Prince of Egypt

The Prince of Egypt (1998) Once again I could not make my scanner work. GAH! But this has so many celebrities doing voices. Val Kilmer, Sandra Bullock, Michelle Pfieffer, Martin Short etc. I went to summer camp the year this came out and used to sing the songs when I had them stuck in my head, except when my cabin mates found out I could sing (which is debatable lol), they made me perform for them. That's no awkward at all.

Across the Universe

Across the Universe (2007) Evan Rachel Wood, Jim Sturgess. Ok along with chick flicks I'm also a sucker for musicals. I also seem to be the only person I know who likes this movie haha but let me tell to, watching Bono butcher his way through "I am the Walrus" makes it all better.

The Notebook

The Notebook (2004) Rachel McAdams, Ryan Gosling widescreen drama. I'm totally willing to admit that I'm a sucker for certain chick flicks and that the ending of this makes me cry every time. I'm such a girl.

Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast (1991) Definately in my top 5 favorite Disney movies. How can you not love this?

Snow White

Snow White (1937) This movie came out when my grandmother was 11. The fact that people still love it is so cool to me. Yet another cover my scanner didn't seem to be a fan of. Hmph.

The Great Muppet Caper

The Great Muppet Caper (1981) Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzi Bear. I don't know why but my scanner would only scan the back of my VHS so I had to google the front. Seriously, this movie is HILARIOUS. God the Muppets are so bad ass.

The Parent Trap

The Parent Trap (1998) Lindsay Lohan, Natasha Richardson, Dennis Quaid. Ah Disney. And Lindsay Lohan before she became a train wreck! What's not to love right?

Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971) Angela Lansbury. Another Disney VHS. What a shock haha. My sister LOVED this movie when we were kids and made me watch it ALL the time.

The Sword in the Stone

The Sword in the Stone (1963) Disney animated movie. VHS.

Mary Poppins

Mary Poppins (1964) Julie Andrews. Musical. I still have a ton of VHS movies because I'm cheap and I'm just not willing to get rid of them for DVDs just yet. I love this Disney movie, I always loved to sing along to the songs when I was a kid.

Edward Scissorhands

Edward Scissorhands (1990) Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder. Drama. I love this movie I always though it was so sweet, despite the fact that a lot of my friends just think it's weird lol.

Paris When it Sizzles

Paris When it Sizzles (1964) Audrey Hepburn, William Holden. Widescreen. Comedy. I love seeing Audrey Hepburn in goofy roles because for the longest time the only movie I had ever seen her in was My Fair Lady and I always assumed she only did those super serious Oscar-y movies.
